They really have nothing to do in Florida. According to this bill, the requirement that one take REASONABLE steps to make a SAFE retreat is no more. Pointless. The law as it is requires, OUTSIDE YOUR HOME, you to make as safe as a retreat as possible. If you can't, do what you need to. But the law puts a value on human life. A sliding scale based on threat and urgency is what the law is normally. This is just the product of some redneck pandering to their idiot public.
